Core functions / Responsibilities
Design and improve IOM’s Camp and Migration management strategy in North-East Nigeria in close coordination with the Shelter / NFI and CCCM own organization, relevant government counterparts, beneficiary communities and other relevant humanitarian stakeholders. Plan, develop, and monitor IOM’s CCCM / DM service in NE Nigeria in collaboration with the relevant IOM units, the emergency coordinator, head of sub offices and field staff, to ensure the efficient and timely implementation of these activities, according to the IOM and the working group as guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Development, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, or a related field from an accredited school and five years of relevant professional experience; University degree in the above fields to seven years of relevant professional experience.
Active and passive field experience in program development, implementation and evaluation;
Experience in post-conflict / emergency zones and working in high-risk situations, project management and administrative and financial management (previous experience with IOM Shelter Program use).
Combination of training and experience in the field of work, preferably in natural disasters or post conflict situations.
Experience in liaising with government authorities and local communities, as well as national and international institutions; Preferably in the International feeling Field and in the organizations of the United Nations Common System.
